In the fitness world there is a lot of misconceptions that can affect your your fitness goals. If you are training on your own it's probably a good idea to listen, or follow a trusted voice if perhaps you haven't hired a fitness coach.
So here are a few common fitness misconceptions that you should be mindful of.
#1 Sorness means that I had a great workout. This is not necessary true depending upon your fitness goals, you should not be sore hours after your workout unless you have started a new fitness program, you're training to be a power lifter, or you're training for pure strength.
#2. A lot of sweat indicates a good work out. Sweat is your body cooling down. A great workout would be measured by heart rate.(BPM).
#3. Lifting heavy weights will make me look like a body builder. Again not necessarily true unless that is your fitness goal. Heavy weight training is excellent for weight loss, muscle building and to improve your overall fitness level. So don't be afraid to go heavy. Well I hope this information brings forth some good insight. #CoachK.Jackson
