Foam Roller

When you think about a foam roller, the first thing comes to mind is cool down stretch. And you won't be wrong about that. However a foam roller can also be used for a pre- workout warm up. It's important to use a foam roller properly or you can make matter worse as it relates to tightness or soreness. Muscles need to be relaxed so proper (ROM) is achieved. If a muscle has soreness you can apply light pressure with the foam roller and paused on areas that are tight. Please be advised that proper form is to be applied when using the foam roller. Therefore you should pay close attention to you body alignment. So try using a foam roller before your workouts, and see if it makes a difference. We'll peace and health to the community.
